Before your
first booking.

Twenty-two questions we are actually asked by operators who have never used a DMC before, and by partners on their fourth season with us. Where a term is not fixed in print — deposits, cut-offs, minimums — we have said that it is agreed with each partner rather than invent a number to sound decisive.

Start here.

What is a DMC, and what does Kerala B2B do?

A destination management company runs the destination for you, end to end. Kerala B2B is one, based in Kochi and established in 2023. You sell the trip and keep the client relationship; we handle everything on the ground — airport welcome, transport, accommodation, sightseeing and activities — delivered under your own brand. One desk, one contact, one invoice.

I have never worked with a DMC before. What changes for me?

Very little on your side. You keep route design, pricing and all client communication in your own name. What you stop doing is negotiating separately with hotels, cab operators, boat houses and guides in a state you may not know well. You send a manifest and an itinerary; we confirm what is possible, quote it, and run it. The guest-facing work — briefing, transfers, guides, timings — is ours.

Will you sell to my guests directly, or go around me?

No. We are B2B only and never deal with the travelling public. Nothing we hand a guest carries a route back to us: our vehicles show no other operator’s number or advertising, and the reception area in our Kochi office carries your brand rather than ours. Your client stays your client.

Which parts of Kerala do you cover?

Nine destinations, with vehicles, rooms, guides and activities held in each: Kochi, Munnar, Athirappilly, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kumarakom, Wayanad, Varkala and Kovalam. Most itineraries start and finish in Kochi, which is the state’s international gateway.

Your name,
our ground.

What exactly carries my brand?

Nine touches, starting inside the arrival terminal: a personalised greeting with a flower bouquet and a mundu tied the Kerala way, an airport briefing, water bottles printed with your label, cabs badged front and rear, Kerala Blinks photographers at the main destinations, video feedback collected with the guest’s consent, a reception area in our office on your label, soft-copy leaflets set in your layout, and a Business Partnership Excellence Award for partners who build volume with us.

Does anything on the ground advertise someone else?

No. The vehicles carry your branding front and back and nothing else — no competing operator’s number, no paid advertising. The white-label kit is the whole point of the service, so we do not dilute it.

What do you need from me before the first booking to set the branding up?

Your logo files, the exact wording for the labels, the layout you prefer for the leaflets, and the destinations you want the photographers to cover. These are agreed with each partner before the first booking, so nothing is being decided while a guest is already in the air.

Paper before
wheels.

How far ahead do I need to book?

The pattern we work to is an itinerary locked about a month before arrival, with the manifest, flight numbers, hotel list and vehicle requirement in your hands by then. Book earlier than that for the short beach season in south Kerala and for Munnar in the cool months, because hill and beach property here is held early or not at all.

What do you need from me to confirm a booking?

The manifest with names and rooming, flight numbers and arrival times, the hotel list or the band you want, the vehicle requirement, and the published itinerary you are selling against. If part of that is still moving, send what you have and we will tell you what is holding the confirmation.

How large a group can you take?

Groups of any size. Transport and accommodation are arranged against the manifest, so a family of four and a coach movement are both ordinary work for us. Send the number early: vehicle count and room count are the two things that decide what is still available.

What happens if the itinerary changes after I have booked?

Send the amendment and we requote it against your published itinerary. Cancellations and amendments are free until the standard cut-off confirmed on your booking. After that, changes are quoted to you before we action anything, so you know the cost before your guest does.

Where the trip
is won.

Who guides my guests, and are they licensed?

Licensed guides, matched to the destination and the language of the party. Guide days are set against your itinerary, and the guide takes the party on after the airport briefing, which keeps the arrival itself short.

What standard of hotel should I expect?

Whatever band you sell. We hold accommodation across all price bands in each destination, and the hotel names are spelled out at the airport briefing so a guest knows where they are sleeping before they have to ask. If you want a second option in a band priced alongside it, ask on the quote.

What vehicles will my guests travel in?

Vehicles badged with your label front and rear and sized to the group and the road. Wayanad and the ghat runs are long transfers, so vehicle choice is part of the itinerary rather than an afterthought. Nothing else is advertised on the vehicle.

What happens if a guest is unhappy while they are with you?

Call the desk — it is staffed around the clock. The guest was handed a written package description at the airport covering what is included, which hotels and which destinations, so most disagreements are settled by pointing at the paper. Anything that needs fixing, we fix on the ground and tell you afterwards, not instead.

Money, plainly.

How do you price a trip, and are your rates net or commissionable?

Every quote is written against your manifest, component by component, so you can see what is priced per person and what is priced per vehicle. Whether we work net or on a commission structure is agreed with each partner before the first booking. Ask for a rate card and we will send one for the destinations you sell.

What are your payment terms?

Agreed with each partner before the first booking, along with the deposit pattern. We do not publish one set of terms, because the shape of the business differs: a weekly coach programme and a once-a-season family series do not settle the same way. Whatever is agreed is put in writing before you send the first manifest.

Is there a minimum booking size or minimum spend?

There is no fixed figure to print here. Minimums, where they apply, are agreed with each partner before the first booking. If you want to start with a single booking to test the desk, say so on the enquiry and we will tell you straight whether it works.

Who picks up.

Is someone on call while my guests are in Kerala?

Yes. The desk runs 24/7 on three lines — +91 98958 55908, +91 85432 79972 and +91 90376 49772 — and the office is on St. Antony’s Road, Chengamanad, nine minutes from Cochin International Airport. If a flight slips at 2am, there is someone at this end to move the car.

How quickly will the trade desk reply to an enquiry?

Enquiries are worked in the order they arrive, and anything with a manifest attached is treated as a booking rather than a message. During travel, the 24/7 line is answered around the clock. If you need a committed turnaround for a particular programme, ask for it and we will confirm it in writing.

Which languages does the desk work in?

English, Hindi and Malayalam. Most operator correspondence is in English. If your party needs another language, raise it when you send the itinerary so the right guide is put on the trip.

Where do I send a manifest or an enquiry?

Email booking@keraladmc.com with flight numbers and the hotel list in the body — that is the fastest route to a quote. You can also call the trade line, or use the enquiry form on the contact page, which builds the same message for you.

Not answered
here?

Put the question to the trade desk. If it concerns a live booking, call — the line is staffed around the clock and the office is nine minutes from the airport.
